HEROIC RESCUE: POLICE FREE ALL 20 KIDNAPPED MEDICAL STUDENTS IN HIGH-STAKES OPERATION

In a dramatic turn of events, the police in Benue State have successfully rescued all 20 medical students who were kidnapped earlier this week. The students were abducted while traveling to an annual conference in Enugu.

Among the kidnapped students was Mr. Pius Samson, a Tangale man from Kalmai in Billiri LGA of Gombe State. His abduction, along with the others, raised significant concern across various communities. 
The Tangale Community Development Association (TCDA) was actively involved in praying for the safe return of all the abductees. Earlier The national body of the Tangale CDA issued a statement calling for prayers and expressing hope for a successful rescue mission as government efforts were underway through the TCDA General Secretary of Abuja branch (Mr. Brief Simon) .

The students were seized by armed assailants in a rural area of Benue. The police launched a large-scale search operation, utilizing ground forces and aerial surveillance. The rescue mission was executed with precision, leading to the safe return of all 20 students. Authorities have confirmed that no one was harmed during the operation, and all students have been reunited with their families.

The successful rescue has been hailed as a significant achievement for the security forces. However, the incident has underscored growing concerns about the frequency of kidnappings in the region. Local leaders and citizens are calling for enhanced security measures to protect travelers and residents.
